Elie House Apartments


Colorado Construction & Engineering was awarded the contract to fit out the remaining five mansion house apartments at Elie House. This classical Palladian Grade A listed Mansion House stands in 7 acres of communal gardens and has been internally transformed to a high specification under the supervision of Stevie McKay our Business Development Manager. Stevie has a wealth of experience in the construction industry which is reflected in the standard of workmanship achieved on this project.

New Production Line at Quaker Oats


Work has begun onsite for a new "Production" line in the Quaker Oats Cupar Mill. We have secured the contract to "Construction Manage" the new milling facility that will feed the Jones 3 line which is being installed this year. Works include infrastructure and the installation of a new mill from Switzerland. This is the fourth building we have carried out for Quaker's parent company, Pepsico; it is intended that this will be operational for the 1st of September in time for Winter Production. O-I Glass Asbestos Removal


Colorado Group works closely with O-I Glass, the largest manufacturer of glass containers in the world. We are pleased to announce the completion of a roofing project at O-I's Alloa plant which included the specialist removal and disposal of 400 tons of asbestos. We are happy to announce that we have acheived Construction Line approval. Construction Line is the UK's register of pre-qualified construction contractors and consultants, and an important streamlining process for clients. Colorado Group is now part of the pre-qualified database of suppliers within this critical business tool.

Colorado Group is delighted to announce it has recently qualified for SAFEcontractor accreditation, the industry's benchmark for Health and Safety standards. SAFEcontractor is fast becoming the standard for the development and maintenance of approved contractor and service provider lists, and Colorado Group aims to show customers that Health and Safety is our highest priority.

Colorado Construction achieves Link-up accreditation

linkupColorado Construction is pleased to confirm it has successfully completed the Link-up® UK Rail Supplier Safety Critical Audit Qualification. Link-up® is the UK rail industry supplier registration and qualification scheme, a single common registration, qualification and audit process for suppliers that is shared by the UK rail industry. Gaining Link-up qualification for safety critical works is an achievement of which Colorado is extremely proud and that is recognised throughout Construction and the rail industry. This qualification provides a constant measure of Safety competence across the rail industry and assists Colorado  Group in maintaining our own high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental delivery.

Colorado Project 'Best Practice' Assessment


Colorado Group's construction of a major distillery for Glen Turner is being assessed by the Scottish Construction Centre as an example of ‘best practice’ of construction procurement due to the expected level of savings that will be delivered to the client. The facility will be the first new grain distillery constructed in Scotland for over 40 years and will produce 25 million litres of whisky each year.
