Elie House is an 18th Century Category B Listed building. When the developer, Chris Stewart Group, acquired the property, Colorado Construction were asked to take on the complete refurbishment and fit-out of the remaining five flats together with the adjoining stairs and hallways.
The project was extremely complex, with the requirement to retain the key features of the dwelling while bringing the building up to current insulation and services standards.
The finishes needed to meet an extremely high standard and this required whole-scale upgrade with a close attention to every detail. The £650k project was completed while the residents of the existing properties remained in residence.
