O-I is the largest manufacturer of glass containers in the world. The company has a turnover of £1.5billion and employs over 23,000 people. O-I has operating bases in 11 European countries, including 39 plants and 78 furnaces, and specialises in glass packaging for food and beverages, such as beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks.
Colorado Construction is a term contractor at the O-I facility in Alloa and has successfully completed a wide range of projects over the last three years including specialist laboratory refurbishments to ensure optimum working conditions for O-I’s engineers.
Colorado has undertaken several projects including facility refurbishments and relocation works, re-surfacing and concrete yard repairs, and amenity and bathroom facilities.
